Jelly Bean gains ground among users and Gingerbread drops below 50 percent mark, says Android Dashboard Details

In the latest release of statistics from Android Developer ranking, it has been seen observed that the Android Jelly Bean is growing at a real speed by becoming the 3rd most popular of its Android operating system family.

In the Android community, together, Jelly Bean 4.1 and 4.2 have crossed 10% adoption whereas the most recent version, 4.2 accounts for 1.2%. Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) with 29.1% is the runner up on the popular Android OS list, while leader remains the two year old Gingerbread at 47.7%

ICS usage has raised 1.6%, but Jelly Bean is speeding up at a pace, rising from 6.7%  to 10.2%, an increase of 3.5%

With more devices coming out in the market carrying the latest Android OS, the 2010 OS has finally lost its grip by getting dropped below 50 percent mark.
