Learning lessons from Instagram stories, Facebook is now planning to roll out timeline-topping Facebook Stories app which will let users push our videos and images that will fade away after 24 hours.
Facebook had launched Instagram stories in August 2016 after looking at the success of this format in Snapchat. Instagram stories had been widely accepted by photo sharing app users.
Facebook has also been facing a decline in its user growth, they have to come up with solutions that invite melinnails to join/ come back to the social networking platform. The Snapchat like stories by Facebook can be a necessity than a feature.
Facebook has already started rolling out photo filters and geo-location sensitive filters which are again copy of Snapchat features.
It will be interesting to see how facebook universe accept will Facebook Stories.
